Wyean means path in ancient elvish. While many Wyen are EElves, there are members of all races who follow the Wyen.
Wyen believe that all comes from all and is a part of all.
That which causes disharmony or pain is part of life and must be accepted for what it is.
Followers value peace, harmony, joy, balance, love, and kindness.
Followers of the Wyen do not concern themselves with the meaning of life or any afterlife.
They will not own serfs and will work to free serfs when doing so would not cause other harms.
Lay followers will own property and participate in society. They do not believe in excessive wealth and tend to live modestly even when in positions of power.
A follower who does amass wealth or use public power for personal gain may be referred to derisively as unyen, but this is thought to be unkind and would be itself unwyen.
Monks take vows and cultivate the 2 Treasures (mindfulness and concentration).
Shaman practice natural healing and magical healing.
Some monks and mages who follow the Wyen develop nature based magics or psionic powers.
Followers of the Wyen endeavor to follow the path which contains 3 avoidances and 3 endeavors
